During the growing season, Eagle Ag employs several summer interns to assist with the scouting and sample collection.  The training of these scouts is something that we take very seriously since they are our eyes in the field at many times.  Each day we meet as a group to go over the previous day’s findings before one of the agronomists follows up to make the appropriate recommendations.  These scouts use the latest GPS tools to navigate to specific locations.  We also use handheld computers to keep current reports that can be easily passed onto the grower in a timely manner.  We are now carrying digital cameras to capture the size and “look” in the field.  We can then e-mail these photos to you the next day so you can get a first hand look without leaving your office.  A picture is really worth a thousand words and we think you’ll have a better understanding of what’s going on in your field with these photos.
